I saw your book on our local store shelves and I am interested in purchasing a copy. However my question is, can I follow the procedures well enough if I stick to PhotoShop Elements version 5.0? I do not want to upgrade to CS3. I have a lab full of computers and teach Elements at our county library.

Only 1 chapter out of 9 is devoted exclusively to Photoshop. And for that chapter you would certainly be unable to replicate many of the edits and tools demonstrated, using Elements. But the rest of the book should hopefully be of interest. BTW you can download Ch4 for free on the main site and see how that fits your needs.
